Hi Janet, I will do lookups in "State of Vermont ROSTER of SOLDIERS in the WAR of 1812-14", 1933. The age of soldiers who are listed is 16 to 60 years old and about 1/4 of their town of birth are listed. Soldiers were mainly born in Vermont, but about 5% were born in Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, or Pennsylvania. I have posted their military data to the respective state rootsweb mailing lists so you could search their archives. Cheers, Jan
