Dorothy, I will be happy to look up the Alexander's for you, in fact there is a monument at the end of my road that is Alexander, I will go and get the information listed on it for you, it looks like a headstone, but it is just a monument. Alexander's were a big part of Londonderry, if I remember correctly, I did read the history of Londonderry a few years ago. My family has been here since the 1940's, however I have all the original deeds of my parents land dating back to late 1700's. It is also interesting that I am researching Alexander's, my great grandmother was Helen Alexander, but she was born in Canada, this is on my dad's side, my mom's is the family that first came to Londonderry, and she is all french canadian. I don't believe Helen was french, her father was born in England, but I don't have a lot of info on them, I do have them when they immigrated to NH, it was Lempster, which is up North more, Londonderry is on the southern part of NH, near the Mass border.
