Hi Deb, In your response to another list member, you mentioned a John Mitchell who was one of the original settlers of Londonderry. Was that VT or NH? Is there any other information about him, i.e., where he came from, if the family removed to another state, the dates of the settlement, his age and/or family at the time? I have been stuck on John Mitchel/Mitchell for over 3 years. Mine, my gggg-grandfather, and his descendants lived in the Colchester/East Haddam/Lyme/Old Lyme, CT areas; but I have not been able to find where he came from. They eventually married into the Morrises who came from VT (most probably Randolph, Orange) and I wonder if that could have been the connection. Thanks for any help.
