Hi, I am new to this list. The family I am currently researching is the Taber family. Stephen Taber married to Comfort Parker. Lived in Bradford, VT. I have copies of their death certs. Son, Paul, married Waity Whipple. I have a marriage cert. from NH for them from 1813. Paul is listed in the MI roster of veterans of the War of 1812 who died in Michigan. He died in 1888 in Adrian, MI. Does anyone know where he joined or served? Thanks, Jan Watling

Hello, I am researching a J. Depew born 1800 in PA, that married Wealthy Elmer 20 Mar. 1843, Lee, IA. I am mostly looking for Joseph and any information on Depews however, I know that a lot of clues also come from the spouse's line. If anyone out there has info on either of these surnames, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you.
