The age of soldiers who are listed is 16 to 60 years old and about 1/4 of their town of birth are listed. Soldiers were mainly born in Vermont, but about 5% were born in Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, or Pennsylvania. My David Rollins, who I show as "a soldier in the war of 1812" died in Corinth, VT, in 1855. However, I think he was born in Portsmouth, NH -- maybe he are others were soldiers from New Hampshire? Janet K.
