    1. [VTORANGE] Joshua VT- Polly SESSIONS
    2. Judy Alexander
    3. Does anyone connect with Joshua ALEXANDER (b. ca. 1786 NH d. 1754 Vershire, VT)? Married a Polly SESSIONS (b. ca. 1786 Stratford or Fairlee, Orange Co., VT, d. 1857 Vershire, VT). She was daughter (and possibly firstborn) of David SESSIONS and Rachel STEPHENS and I believe was born in VT. Possible confusion - there is another Polly SESSIONS born about the same time who was the daughter of Simeon SESSIONS and Sarah DANA who lived in Pomfret VT or CT. She married a Marshall MASON and is stated as dying in December 1814, Pomfret, VT. Joshua and his family have been a tough "brick wall" for me - so ANY clue or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Judy Alexander Roswell, GA [email protected]

    2. Judy, Sorry, my Alexander's are from Canada then to Lempster-Claremont, NH, I only have 3 generations of them, they have been hiding on me for many years. As to the Londonderry info, I know there are a lot Alexanders here and I can find the info here for you. Just email me again in a few weeks when I will get a chance to go to the library. 2. Judy Alexander
    3. Deb - Hi! Saw your posting on the VTORANGE-List and your reference to the ALEXANDERs in your surname list. Perhaps you can shed some light in my search for Anda ALEXANDER early 1800's. I have a marriage certificate 1835 for Anda (from Vershire, Orange Co., VT) to Susan ROGERS (from Norwich, VT). Do you have anything on him? Or on Joshua ALEXANDER (who I think may be his father)? If so I would be able to trace my husband's line back through Anda<Joshua<Hugh<Robert<Randall who was one of the early settlers in 1719 of Londonderry, NH, where you're located. Any tiny scrap of a clue would be welcomed as Anda has completely eluded us for years. Just discovered the day before yesterday another descendant of Anda through the ALEXANDER-L -- Dave Boynton of Missouri. Anda has been his brick wall too. Judy Alexander Roswell, GA [email protected] P.S. How many miles are you from Nashua? My cousin Rolf Goodwin lives there. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, June 14, 2000 7:42 PM Subject: Re: [VTORANGE] Village Cemetery, Corinth???? 3. Hi Kate, Don't know anything about the Cemetery, but do you know where your Merrill's were from before Corinth? The reason I ask is I have an Olive Merrill b: December 16, 1786, d: July 13, 1870. She was married to a William French, b: March 14, 1785, d: December 31, 1857. Their marriage listed them as being from Salisbury, Ma. and Londonderry, N.H. From the family Bible they are listed as having several children and living in the Windsor County, Vermont area. Know this is a long shot, but you never know??
