I have a great grandfather that was born in Georgia Vt. Joseph H Taylor, born 1858 His father's name is also Joseph, and mother is Mary Buce? who was born in English Canada. I do not know when Joseph left Vt. but he married in 1880? to Katherine McLaughlin and settled in Lowell, Ma. They had four sons, Joseph Jr, George, Charles and William. I'm not sure if this info helps I would love to hear if there is any info that can be added to this info. One of Joseph's Sr. sons is my grandfather, Charles.
