I suspected his wife's name would be Catherine in as that is the name of the only daughter I am currently aware of. He moved to Ohio between 1816 and 1822 where there were several Clawsons but with a much different migratory route. I suspect they are distantly related however and he ended up there due to the food shortages in Vermont. I would just dearly love to find him *somewhere* in the 1820 census!
