I think we have the same person. Death certificate states birth date 9/25/1824 in Sheldon, Vt.-but actually born & baptised on 09/13/1835 in St.Hilaire, PQ. I have their wedding date as 2/25/1856 in Sheldon, VT Godparents were Jean Sidoine Boisse & Marie-Louise Adam. Family moved in and out of the States. Kept going to Waterloo, Quebec regularly to have their children baptized. Gravestone at Notre Dame Cemetary Gardner, MA states 1823-1922 Oldest Man in Gardner at 98 years and 8 months Holder of Boston Postsgold headed cane. I have a picture of Sophie as a little girl with her infant sister and parents - all in Indian dress.
