Possibly illegitimate child of Willard William Griffin (descendant of Jesse Welden/Weldon). Lived in Canada with Alonza Day, had 2 daughters, Mary and Ellen Day. In 1858 she had an illegitimate child Charles by Charles North frm Ireland(St Albans clerks register) In 1860 census all 3 children, Mary Day, Ellen Day and Charles North, age 2, are in the Swanton Poor House and no trace of Lorain Griffin Day.
