I am looking for info on Joseph Bates and his family. There are two Joseph Bates in the area for a while so I am looking for the one who lived from 1793-1866 and whose father I believe to be Oliver. I do NOT need any info on the Joseph whose parents are Jonathan and Mehitable. They are the wrong parents for my Joseph. My Joseph went to Quebec, married a woman there and moved back to VT before heading to Ohio. I guess the info I am trying to find out is if his father is Oliver and who his mother is. Thanks a lot!
