I have a Lucretia Mitchell born April 8, 1824 in Highgate, Franklin, VT. I had always thought her father was Robert Mitchell (but not proven). Robert Mitchell born Feb 14, 1783 in Palmer, Hampton, MA and died 1860 in Sheldon, Franklin, VT. In the 1820 census for Franklin, Fairfield, Vermont, there is a Hubbell Mitchell enumerated right before a Harvey Lee. If Hubbell was Delia's father, it would make sense that they would name their child Hubbell after him.
