She was born maybe about 1790 and she married Reuben Willard. Reuben was born about 1777, either Harvard, MA or Chesterfield, NH. He was in Highgate during the War of 1812. He probably met Samantha while there. She would have been his 2nd wife. His 1st wife was a Nancy Reed, who may have died in Highgate.
