How else can I search for Edwin CHASE,born in Montgomery,Franklin co,Vermont? Do not know the name of his parents,only they were born in New Hampshire.No name of siblings either.  I only found him listed in the 1880 census for Poweshiek co,Iowa.Some of his children were born in Vt.starting in 1858. He married Sarah BULLOCK in 1855,but not sure exactly where.  Suggestions would be greatly appreciated on starting a search for this CHASE line. Vicki Scearce

Try checking the 1850 census for Chase families living in Franklin County, VT. If you have access to Ancestry.com, you could look for Edwin Chase in 1850.
