I would like information about a WEST family in Franklin Co., VT. John WEST is in the 1810 Census for Swanton, Franklin Co., VT. with his wife and 3 young boys and 1 girl. I have sons Edwin (1805), and Lucius (~1807), I believe Edwin and Lucius were both born in VT. I do not know the names of the other children. I have his wife listed as Wealthan, or Wealthen, but I am not sure if that is a first or last name. I believe this family left VT before the 1820 Census. They moved west, and Edwin and Lucius married (two GARDNER sisters from NY) in OH. I have information on the descendants of Edwin and Lucius, but I would like information on the other two children ... especially the other son, and more information on his wife. Does anyone have information on this Family? Can anyone tell me where I might find vital records for Swanton, Franklin Co. from 1800 to 1820? (I live in Oregon) Thank you, Cindy
