HI, I have been looking for a marriage record for Canadian gr gr parents to no avail. The time period would have been about 1830 give or take a few years. I wrote to the VT state records office and they had no record of their marriage. I think the family was Baptist at that time. >From other postings, it seems people have found a lot of marriages records in Highgate and Franklin. Can anyone please help me with other ideas. I have searched every place I can think of in Canada. The names I am looking for are Ebenezer Groat and Rhoda (Stone). She was the daughter of Simon and Anna Stone. Thanks very much! Audrey Growt
