    3. Pauline: Thanks for posting the note - I hadn't seen that story before. It caused me to look again at my database and I found an open question that I had never resolved. Perhaps you can help. I have two Hiram Boomhour/Boomhower in my data: Hiram Clark Boomhower b. 22-Apr-1854 the son of Abramham Boomhower and Elizabeth Collins. Abraham being the son of Jacob Boomhower and Aura Schoolcraft. This Hiram does not seem to be the one referred to in that story as he did not die till 31-Mar-1927, according to information attributed to Rev. Harold Boomhower who was his son. and: 1 Hiram Boomhour d: 5-Dec-1868 (according to the story) +Mary Scott d: Bef. 1877 2 Julia A. Boomhour b: Abt. 1857 in Fletcher, Franklin Co. VT +Carlos Bernard Ferrill m: 23-Mar-1879 in Hyde Park, Lamoille Co., VT 2 Fanny Boomhour b: Abt. 1860 in Fletcher, Franklin Co. VT +Solomon N. Gibbs m: 9-Apr-1877 in Fletcher, Franklin Co. VT I have not been able to prove the parentage of the second HIram (the one in the story). Do you know what his lineage is? > -----Original Message----- > From: Pauline Manosh [mailto:Pmanosh@pwshift.com] > Sent: Tuesday, December 28, 1999 9:10 AM > To: VTFRANKL-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Hiram Boomhour Fletcher, Vermont Franklin County > > > Hi, > He may be a relative of Herbie. > In Hemenway's Vermont Historical Gazetteer: > pg. 206 Vol. 2
