I have two Hiram Boomhour/Boomhower in my data: Hiram Clark Boomhower b. 22-Apr-1854 the son of Abramham Boomhower and Elizabeth Collins. Abraham being the son of Jacob Boomhower and Aura Schoolcraft. This Hiram does not seem to be the one referred to in that story as he did not die till 31-Mar-1927, according to information attributed to Rev.
