Hi Erin, I just found my Canadian Grand Uncle Frederick W. BISSETT in the St Albans census for 1900. Unfortunately, the copy is soooo bad where his information is written that I can't read the name of his wife, nor his young son. He lived on Main Street in a rented house, but I don't know the number. Are you aware of whether there are city directories for St Albans? If so, what years, and are the possibly available through ILL or on line? South Texas is a L O N G way from Vermont. I also need to search for my GF's and GU's immigration information. Since they came from Huntingdon, Quebec, if their records exist they would be in St Albans. I'd be interested in knowing the address(es) for reputable researchers in the St Albans area who might help me pull this information together.
