Hi listers - I called the Swanton library today in hope of asking them to copy the pages concerning the Lapan families from John Moody's genealogy research notebook which I understand does not circulate. Although the librarian was very helpful, she was not familiar with the book, and wasn't sure if she had found the one I was asking about. The one she found did not seem to have an author or compiler's name associated with it. Can someone who has used this Moody book tell me if it has a title? I understand it is a looseleaf binder - is it indexed? Can anyone give me some specific information that will help the librarian locate the book? She told me to call back tomorrow and in the meantime she would see if she could ask someone about it later on today. If I don't have any luck with the library, should I contact the Swanton Historical society, or is there anyone on this list who is actually in Swanton and could do this for me?
