Foster b/abt 1835 VT the son of Joseph & Lucy Foster. He is noted in 1850 Census Joseph Foster age 41 b/NY Lucy age 44 b/VT Daniel age 22 Amos age 20 Mary age 18 Ira G. Foster b/1835 Lucy age 13 Joseph M. age 10 Emily age 9 Syman age 5 Joseph M. served in Civil War & Ira G. says he also served in 6th VT Inf. Co. F but he served under Harvey Brown. He requested pension from that service in 1896 but does not say from where. By 1912 he was living in Everett, WA and noted as not married. A neice Fanny Savage daughter of his brother Daniel & wife Celesla. He is buried at our GAR section in Evergeen cemetery. Anyone researching this name please contact me at [email protected]
