EZEKIEL POND, third son of Ezra, was born at Wrentham, Feb. 21, 1761, according to the town records, or Jan. 20, 1760, by family records. He lived for several years at Hubbardston with his father, but after his marriage removed to Hyde Park, Vt., from there to Wolcott, and finally, in 1815, to Berkshire, Vt. He enlisted in the militia, and was in camp at Warwick, R. I., March 12, 1777; was corporal in Adam Henry's company of Guards, and was for three months on guard duty at Rutland, Mass., from July 1, 1779; He was one of the six months men from Hubbardston, marched July 10, 1780; his name is on the government pension list of 1840, then a resident of Berkshire, in the family of John Busbee. He married, Dec. 7, 1797, HANNAH, daughter of Jabez FITCH. She died at East Berkshire, Vt., January 24, 1852, aged 79 years. He died at East Berkshire, Jan. 19, 1855.
