Debbie Thanks for the Roll Call. I am looking for info on a Samuel Washburn who was born in MA c. 1782. By the early 1800's he was in Georgia, Franklin County, VT. There is some speculation (but unproved at this point) that he was the son of a Isaiah Washburn. We now know that Samuel's wife was Diademtia Wright. He had at least the following children: Samuel, Jr., Almon, Henry, Solomon, plus 2 or 3 more. Solomon married a Mary Carter born in Canada. They were married in Addison and moved to Wisconsin. I am in Solomon's line and have been trying to get around this brick wall for a couple of years. Looking for proof of Samuel's parents. Thanks for any help. Bill Betts Center Cross, Virginia
