Kate, I was in Highgate two weeks ago. I found the people in the Town Hall to be very helpful. You can look up the records with no problem and the town records include records that are not in the state records at Middlesex. The main cemetary is right in the center of town behind the Town Hall which doubles as the Fire Station and Highway Dept.
