Hello List- RE: Roll Call (Need parents and siblings of Edwin Hayes) I'm looking for any information on the family of Edwin HAYES (b. about 1815, d. 2/8/1863 in Cambridge, VT - He was sent home with wounds/illness from Bell Plains, Virginia.) His military records show that he was from RICHFORD, VT -entered the 5th Vt. Inf. C. Aug. 20, 1862 and left Sep 15, 1862. He was a blacksmith by trade, and married on November 1, 1835 Nancy Mary Sessions (d/o Thomas SESSIONS and Mathena DAKE/DEAKE) . (Nancy was born in Stowe or Mansfield, Vt. in 1817, and died June 25, 1885 in Cambridge, Vt.) Both Edwin and Nancy are buried in the South Cambridge Cemetery.
