Aloha Cindy, Suggest that you go to Salle Gagnon at the Central Library on East Sherbrooke St, Montreal or the Tuesday evening session at the library of the Vermont French-Canadian Genealogical Society, lakeside in S. Burlington, VT (I can get the exact address for you) and look in the Blue Drouin series, or Loiselle Index, or the marriage repertoire of St Francois for the marriage of Michel CHARRON and Matilda (anything that sounds like MARCO) circa 1853. Watch it because there is a St Francois on the Ile d'Orleans. If you find the marriage you'll also get the names of their parents, thus a start on the preceding generation.
