Good Morning Carol Well it looks like you found my HINCKLEYS: > Hinckley...... > Adella L. > Francis E. This is the only name I am unfamiliar with > Ira, DEA > Lucy L. > Phebe > Sarah > Hinkley..... > Arthur S. > Ira > Lucina > Lydia M. > Sarah Maria What I did not know is who all was buried there. Ira DEA (m. Sarah Maria Hale and Phebe Martin) was the son of Ira HINCKLEY (m Elisabeth Hyde). I don't know what the DEA stands for, but suspect it to be a title. Do you know how the original Georgia books came about? I am looking at their microfilm that is available through the family history center. The entries are not in date sequence, entire families are listed together. It looks to me like they were compiled, could that have been in the 1850s? Ira DEA Hinckley signs as town clerk and he died in 1860. If that is the case it would explain why I cannot find any evidence of my Goddards in these books. They went to IL after 1850 and before 1853. Caleb Goddard is on the 1840 and 1850 census for Georgia. Caleb's father John is said to have died in Milton in 1812. How far is Milton? Afa in British Columbia
