Especially glad to hear you were born MA, that's where I am (also born) but St. Albans for me might as well be Hawaii. If all else fails, will save for a trip next summer. The church info is very intriguing, but don't want to end up bothering them repeatedly, would like to send one letter of request, so am trying to narrow down probable dates of death, etc. Most helpful would be if I could rent microfilm reels of St. Albans Messenger, but no library who has it will lend it. I asked how much it costs to buy each microfilm reel, stunned to hear it's $25!!! Also am not sure if it's a good paper for obits and local news.
