    3. Hi Jim, I think if you could find the year of death, someone at City Hall would look it up for you. What makes it confusing, is that there are two places where St. Albans records are kept-City Hall and St. Albans Bay Town Hall. I have my information listed for Mitchell as St. Albans Bay. I can't be totally sure, I've spent many hours at both places and have written down pretty much all the information I could find for every Rich (and Richard, Richs changed their names several times from Richard to Rich and then back again.) I don't have a date of death for Mitchell. I have him listed in the 1900 Federal Census. I have daughter Nellie married to Lewis Rich1/21/1901. As far as the Messenger obits go, sometimes they are very complete, (obit for one of the Richs "gored by a wild bull" ) sometimes none at all. I have gone to every cemetary in St. Albans and have written down every Rich. I can't find Mitchell in any of my notes. My sister and I have been working on this together,I'll ask her to look through her notes for something I may have missed.
