Dot ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm Paul Zeller and I'm in the process of writing the history of the 2nd Vermont Volunteer Infantry Regiment and request your assistance in locating any letters, diaries or photographs of member of that unit. This work will be about the experiences of the common soldier, not the generals or their grand strategies. I'm trying, as much as possible, to let the unit members tell their own story. I have exhausted all the resources at the University of Vermont, Vermont Historical, local Vermont historical societies, Library of Congress, and National Archives.
