This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Tittemore/Ellsworth/Farrand Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/pAC.2ACI/2181 Message Board Post: The brick wall tends to flatten the forehead at times but it is worth trying again. Mary was my gggrandmother born 1831 and was d/o David Tittemore (or with one "t") from St. Armand QC. She married Cassius Wirt Ellsworth of Berkshire VT. Cassius died of wounds at the Battle of Petersburg in the Civil War 17 May 1865. On 24 September 1868 Mary married Joshua Farrand in Berkshire VT. They had two children which are registered in Berkshire. The second child being born 15 June 1872. The next record that I have is of Joshua Farrand marrying Anna Kennedy on 8 June 1878. I can only surmise that Mary E. died sometime after the birth of her second child born in 1872 but I cannot find any record of her death. Hence the brick wall. I have talked to the town clerks in Berkshire and Richford but other than the marriages and births, no results. I am hoping that someone on this board may have some information as to what happened to Mary and save my poor head. Thank you for reading this pos! t. Keith.
