Surnames: Sweeney Hayford Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/pAC.2ACI/2185 Message Board Post: I am searching for any information on Nellie Jane Sweeney who was born 1861 in Vermont. Vital Records of Vermont say her parents were Adam Sweeney and Catherine J, no indication of where she was born. Family information says she was either born in Lamoille Co or St. Albans. I find a Nellie I 8 years old living with Rachel Dimick in Lamoille Co 1870 census. Then I found another record of Nellie 20 living with Edward A. Dunton, as a servant on the 1880 C in St. Albans. There is a Mary Sweeney age 22 living in the same household, maybe she is Nellie's sister. I can not find any other reference to the parents of Nellie. There was an Adam age 13 on the 1850 Census in Lamoille Co. I have placed a Query in Lamoille Co. Message Board as well. Any information who be very helpful. Thank you in advance for your help.
