Not too sure on the number of Risdon children - there may have been more. At least five of them that I know of died young. Caleb Stevens, son of Daniel Stevens & Hannah Hills b. 1783 Piermont, Grafton Co, NH d. 1819 Enosburgh, Franklin Co, VT m. 1809 Sarah (Sally) Austin, dau of Oliver Austin & Sarah Powell b. 1790 Lanesboro, Berkshire Co, MA d. 1868 Fletcher, Franklin Co, VT Their children were: Rosina Austin Stevens b. 1811 Enosburgh, Franklin Co, VT m. ca 1831 John Ridson, Jr., son of John Risdon & Zilpha Baker. They settled in Iowa. Caleb Austin Stevens b. 1814 Enosburgh, Franklin Co, VT m. Tabitha He was a Methodist clergyman. Elvira Stevens b. 1816 Enosburgh, Franklin Co, VT m. ca 1831 Joel Risdon, son of John Risdon & Zilpha Baker. Joel settled in Washington State ca 1853 and Elvira lived in Illinois. May have been divorced. Sarah Luthera Stevens b. 1819 Enosburgh, Franklin Co, VT m. 1840 William Carter Carleton d. 1891 They lived in Newbury, Orange Co, VT. John Risdon, Sr., son of Josiah Risdon & Martha Cochran b. 1779 Pawlet, Rutland Co, VT d. 1862 Fletcher, Franklin Co, VT m. 1st wife, ca 1803 Zilpha Baker (1783-1820) They had 3 sons, 5 daughters. m. 2nd wife, ca 1820 Polly Wilmarth (1788-1827) They had 3 sons, 1 daughter. m. 3rd wife, ca 1828 Sarah (Sally) Austin (1790-1868) They had 4 sons.
