Dec. 7--A preliminary hearing was held today in the office of A. B. Rowley, counsel for the respondents before Justice of the Peace Arthur McKinney, in the cases against W. W. White, Almon White, and Eva J. White, charged with manslaughter in causing the deaths of Mrs. Mary Legrondeur of St. Armand, Que., and Marshall S. Bliss and Nelson J. Royson of this town, it is supposed by selling liquor which contained some poisonous substance.The respondents waived examination and were held to appear before the next term of Franklin County court in St. Albans.
