    3. According to "Enosburgh Vermont", compiled by Joyce Fleury Geraw (1985), a Dan Chilson was among the early settlers of Enosburg, VT, settling at W. Enosburg between 1795 and 1805. Perhaps, Dan was Eugene's grandfather?
