Hi Katherine, I have seen the farm of where Silas Hefflon lved and in fact have him in town as of 1812 on Maple Rd. As he is in the town report. I don't have where he came from other than RI. I believe he had a brother named sessions and a borhter or father named William. Hefflon settled "on the road from East Franklin to the Center village," in 1823. Where he came from, unfortunately it doesn't say.
