Hi! Would you take and look to see if there any "Brooks" in there? I am looking for a William C. Brooks and his wife Sarah W. McFarland - their son William Curtis Brooks came to Maine and said he was born to them March 16, 1826 in Franklin, attended schools there and in Canada.He said his father was a farmer. I wrote to the Town Clerk and Librarian years ago and they found nothing. This man didn't seem to want to discuss his past life - maybe a big dark secret lurking? Marion Brooks, Maine "David J.
