I saw your posting regarding Victory Peters and wondered if you had come across the name of Ichabod Peters during your research. Ichabod is an ancestor of mine who lived most of his life in Rutland County, VT. We have never been able to determine where he was born (1792) or lived prior to 1840 when his name begins appearing in census data for Rutland Co. VT His gravestone bears the name I.V.
