I don't have much info to add to your post except a little on son Michael. Daniel & Mary settled in Highgate, VT by 1850. They were in Vermont by 1840 as their oldest child, Thomas was born in Vermont. By 1860, the family had moved to Franklin. Son Michael served in Civil War. Michael Maloney , 21, of Franklin, Vermont , enlisted in Company H, 3rd Infantry Regiment Vermont on July 16, 1861. He died of disease on 22 November 1862 in Hagerstown, MD. His widow filed for pension on April 20, 1863. His father filed for his pension in June 1884. Daniel Maloney was witness to marriage of Martin Dwyer and Mariam Gilbert, d/o of George and Ellen (Maloney) Gilbert in Jan 1861.
