Dave, Please, any mention of Fregeau (Frazier, Frazer, Fraser, etc.) dit name Laplanche? Or Bolack, Beaulac, etc. dit name Desmarais? They lived in Swanton before 1880. My gr-gr-grandmother, Maxima Bolac (aka Mary Madeline) was born about 1822. In the Church Street Cemetery a child of Maxima (Miram) and Anthony Fregeau's was buried in 1845 but the stone is hard to read so I was really hoping for a name.
