    3. Hi Katherine, I have seen the farm of where Silas Hefflon lved and in fact have him in town as of 1812 on Maple Rd. As he is in the town report. I don't have where he came from other than RI. I believe he had a brother named sessions and a borhter or father named William. 3. Hi Harriet, The book is on line---available through "Heritage Quest On Line", which is offered by many libraries. I can access books and census images from home through one of our area libraries. The Hefflons are referenced on page 261. There isn't a whole lot on them, but one of their ladies, Mary Carolyn Hefflon, married into the Rixford family, the book author's surname. Mary Carolyn Hefflon was a daughter of Willard Chandler Hefflon/Lenora May Sunderland. Willard was son of Frank Hefflon/Mary Caroline Stimets. Frank was son of Sessions L. Hefflon, b. 1798, and Lucy Fillmore. Sessions was son of William Hefflon, who is buried in the cemetery on the old farm in Highgate. (Willard Hefflon was mayor of St. Albans in 1930.) I did not see Silas mentioned. Where did he live? Rhode Island or Vermont or? Let me know if I can help. My husband's family is from Swanton and Bakersfield, VT, and I'm beginning research in those areas. 1. Campbell + St. Albans
    2. Carol Landry-Fiske
    3. I have been looking for the Campbell family in St. Albans around 1839. My great-grandmother, Martha, told her children that she was born in St. Albans. Her parents were from Scotland. According to the US Census she was in Springfield, MA from 1870 until her death in 1906 with the exception of 1900 when she her adult children resided in Burlington on Cherry St. Seeing as she actually lived in Vermont for at least that one year I believe she must of had family in the area. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks. --------------------------------- Yahoo! Mail Use Photomail to share photos without annoying attachments.

    1. [VTFRANKL] Moses CRAWFORD / Mary WEBSTER late 18th early 19th century
    2. Lisa Crawford McRoberts
    3. Moses CRAWFORD was born about 1805 in Swanton, Franklin, Vermont. I do not have any information about his parents or siblings. Mary WEBSTER was born on 13 Jan 1805 in Sandwich Township, Carroll, New Hampshire to Jonathon WEBSTER and Sarah PAIGE. Her sisters are Abigail, Lydia and Sally. I do not know when or where Moses CRAWFORD and Mary WEBSTER were married. The daughter of Moses and Mary, Sally L. CRAWFORD died on 26 Aug 1827 was buried at Church Street Cemetery in Swanton. In the 1840 Census, Moses was living in Wayne County NY. By 1860, Mary CRAWFORD (WEBSTER) was living back in Swanton with George and other female members of the family. I am assuming that some are daughters and the others might be granddaughters or nieces. One girl, Almira CRAWFORD aged 4 in 1860, was born in "Canada E". In 1870, George was married to Ella BUTLER (aka CURBY) and living in Middlesex County MA with his wife, mother and son. In 1880 George and Ella were living in Ayer, Middlesex, MA with Mary CRAWFORD (WEBSTER) and 4 sons. Their sons are Myron b 1869, Lyman b 1871, Charles b 1874, Frank b 1878 and Lester b 1880. Myron died before the 1880 Census. I would like to know: Who are Moses CRAWFORD's parents and siblings? Where and when did Moses CRAWFORD and Mary WEBSTER marry? Where and when did Moses CRAWFORD die? (between 1850 and 1860) Who are the children of Moses CRAWFORD and Mary WEBSTER? (reportedly they had 8 total with George dying last in 1924) Who are Clarista and Almira CRAWFORD? I am willing to share information that I have.

    2. Could you check for Ingalls while you are at the cemetery? I don't know the first name. It would be the parents of Aschel C. Ingalls born 1814 in either Fairfax, Fairfield, Franklin Co., VT or Middlebury, VT. Supposedly left for Canada when he was three and return about 1830. Can't find parents names. Any Ingalls would be helpful. Thanks, Donna
