Dave, Please, any mention of Fregeau (Frazier, Frazer, Fraser, etc.) dit name Laplanche? Or Bolack, Beaulac, etc. dit name Desmarais? They lived in Swanton before 1880. My gr-gr-grandmother, Maxima Bolac (aka Mary Madeline) was born about 1822. In the Church Street Cemetery a child of Maxima (Miram) and Anthony Fregeau's was buried in 1845 but the stone is hard to read so I was really hoping for a name. Hi Janice, Sorry, there is no mention of either the Conway or Bolger families in either Repertoire. There are no Broudeaus in either Rep either, but there are mariages of the following: Eugenie Marie BOURDEAU - June 20, 1893 Emile BOURDEAU - July 28, 1928 Leon BOURDEAU - October 26, 1910 If you think they might be of interest to you let me know and I will give you all the particulars. Hi Dave. Would you be a KS and look up the marriage of Isaie Varieur/Joseph Varieur to Elisabeth Morin/Murry in your repertoires of St. Mary's and Holy Angels about 1865-1868? This has been a brick wall for me for 25 years. Isaie came from St. Mathias, Que., but Elisabeth was from Sheldon, VT. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Are you using a boat to get around? My ggranddaughter had to evacuate Newmarket, N. H. because the Lamprey River came up and flooded the town. Sure hope the rain stops soon. Hi Dave: I am looking for the marriage of John Dumas to a Rosanna about 1849. I know John immigrated from Canada in 1836 and is listed on the 1850 census of St Albans. Rosanna must have died because John had a different wife named Mary Almina Buseau on the 1860 census. I am trying to learn if they married at St. Albans as well. Thanks for trying to help. The Abigail and Parent you refer to were my g-g-g grandparents. Actually, "Parent's" name was Permort. It was mis-transcribed. Abigail's maiden name was Joy. All of the fore-going is from old family records. Permort was born in Scotland abt. 1770, immigrated 1st to Canada abt 1790, then to Vermont sometime in the 1790's. Abigail was also born in Scotland but I don't know anything else about her. They had 6 children, but I know the names of only 3: Robert, Richard and Amasa. Amasa was my g-g-grandfather. Permort died abt. 1808. That is why the head of fam. is Abigail in 1810. I would like any info you have that I don't! [email protected]
Can anyone assist me for a marriage in Franklin County? Looking for marriage date/place for JOHN DUMAS (Jean Dumas) to MARIE BUSEAU around 1860 -probably in the area of St. Albans? Thanks. Jackie

My gr gr gr gr gr grandmother was Polly KNAPP married to Silas HEFFLON. They came from CT to Franklin, VT and settled on a farm. I haven't yet traced Polly's relatives yet but thought it interesting that you also have a WRIGHT in query and Hiram HEFFLON their son married a WRIGHT girl in Surry, Cheshire County, NH.
