Researching COCHRAN, SHUTE, PAGE and STORY families. They lived in the Fairfield and Fairfax, Vermont areas at one time. Is anyone researching these families?
Inscriptions from Fairfield VT Cemeteries pre 1851 as printed in "Some Early Records of Fairfield, VT" Gilbert Doane, pub Aug. 16, 1938 by the150th Anniversary Committee. Is there a library around Fairfield, Vermont where one could look at this book?
If you have access to a Family History Center, Film #1035931 has cemetery inscriptions for Addison, Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle counties. It is "The Mclellan Collection of Vermont Cemetery Inscriptions." It might be useful.
