Does anyone know if there was pattern for Canadians to relocate to Franklin County, VT. I believe my McCoy, McKay, McKoy's did that also but don't know where to begin my search in Canada. I have a Lucretia Mitchell born April 8, 1824 in Highgate, Franklin, VT. I had always thought her father was Robert Mitchell (but not proven).
