I am looking for information about my ancestor, Spellman Morey. The information that I have is that he was born Nov. 28, 1821 in Westford,Chittenden,Vermont. He married Mary Ann Fuller. They had 4 sons and 1 daughter, Arthur Leroy, Phelps J.,Spellman Jackson, Henry E. and Jesse F.(The children were born in NY). I know that Spellman served during the Civil War in the 98th NY CO. G mustered out of Dickinson Center, Franklin, New York. His enlistment records name David F. Morey and Nancy Burdick as his parents, but I am unable to confirm this information. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or any information. I would especially like to confirm Spellman Morey's parents names. Thank you very much.
