Mr. Nathan Lothrop, aged 75.---Printers in Mass are requested to publish the above. ----------------------- In Farnham, L.C. on the 27th ult of consumption Mr. Samuel Worth, formerly of Starksboro, aged 35. - --------------------------- NOTICE: We have been requested to state that the notice published last week of the marriage of Mr. Rufus Kibby in incorrect. The facility with which officious Friends procure printers gratuitously to notice marriage, frequently leads to imposition. A suitable reward will be given for the detection of the scoundrel who communicated the notice of Mr. Kibby's marriage, that we may make an example of the officious imposter. - --------------------------- Friday 22 April 1830 DIED In this town on Saturday last, son of Mr. Eliab Washburn, aged 10 years. his death was occasioned by a fall from the upper loft of Messrs. Washington, son of Mrs. Widow Jones, aged about four years. - -------------------------- We copy from the Sumter, S.C. Gazette the following remarkable instance of sudden death: "The venerable Mr. Robert Coleman a Class Leader of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Camden, after having exhorted his Class with animation, prayed with his accustomed fervency, and was, with his fellow worshippers, in the act of singing a hymn, suddenly fell down, and in twenty minutes was called from Time to Eternity. Colburn, of Boston, to Miss Naomi King, of this place. --------------------------- DIED In this town on Monday last, Russell, son of Mr. Russell Lawrence, aged 1 year. -------------------- In Westford, on the 24th inst. after an illness of 30 hrs, Mr. Averell noble, of Essex, aged 64 years. - --------------------------- In Grand Isle, on the 1st inst., after an illness of about three weeks, in a firm reliance on her Savour's mercy, Mary L. daughter of Abishai Allen. ------------------ In Essex, on the 11th inst. Mr. Asa Holget, aged 94. He was a patriot in the French War under the command of Robert Rogers, and a supporter of the Revolutionary war; he was probably nearly the last of those who faught to retrieve their country from the grasp of the French. ------------------------ NOTICE: This may certify that I have this day given my son, Ebenezer W. Seth Pomeroy, aged 61 years. - ---------------------------------- INFORMATION WANTED: Mrs. Catharine Mahen, with her daughter Mary, aged abt 16 years, and two or three younger children, left Quebec for the States in August last, and after travelling as far as St. albans, VT, the daughter became too much fatugued to proceed farther; She was, therfore left at St. Albans in the family of Thomas McCarl, and the mother with the other children proceeded to Troy, N.Y. her place of destination, whither the dau was to be sent as soon as the mother should write for her: But after writing several letters without receiving any answer, the anxious mother returned, on foot, to St. Albans on the 13th inst where she learned from the neighbors that her daughter, after enduring many hardships, left the place in March last, since which nothing has been heard from her. Any information will be thankfully received by her afflicted mother, addressed to Mr. Philip Quin, Troy, N.Y. or to Groseback & Lansing, Gibbonsville, N.Y. - ----------------------------------
