Hi: I would appreciate any help on the following: I am thinking of ordering some records for ancestors. I need a death cert. for 1838, Huntington, Chitt., VT. and probate rec. I need a death cert for 1838 Shelburne, Chitt., VT. I need a birth cert for 1833, Shelburne, Chitt., VT. Should I write to the town clerks of Shelburne and Huntington, Chitt., VT., or do I write to Division of Public Records in Montpelier, VT., or do I write to Vermont Dept. of Health in Burlington? I have searched the VT Vital records that are on film and available to Family History Centers for this time period and didn't find their names. So, I am wondering if this means there are no records to be had?? I also need the address for the town clerk of Huntington, Chitt., VT., Thanks so much. Joyce
