The latest info that I rec'd (July 6, 1999) was sent to me within 2-weeks & my check was returned to me, as a non-certified copy was sent (I had forgotten to specify which I wanted). A note told me, if I wanted a certified copy, one would be sent & I would be billed later for cost. The office in Shelburne is *exceptionally* helpful. My needed info has all been ca 1870>>>> possibly earlier date(s) are not held in Co. Clerk's office but am *sure* they will gladly tell you where it can be had. Best of luck. Bev
