In 1867-70 and maybe later, S. (Seraph?) Louisa Bowe is living in Hinesberg, Chittenden County, Vermont. She has a connection to someone in the Bowe family(Proably the line of captian Daniel Bow(e) or his brother Jacob Bowe that came to Pittsfield, Rutland, County, Vermont from Middleton, Ct in the late 1780's. S. Louisa could be the daughter of a Daniel Bowe JR, or his brothers John Bowe, or Peleg Bowe, or could she be possibly a wife to John Bowe or ???? Can anyone help solve this? We know this, Daniell Bowe came to Wisconsin from Pittsfield in about 1844. His brother John Bowe may have come west as well. John Bowe may have disappeared or died, but at any rate some land owned in S.E. Wisconsin by one of the Bowe folks mentioned above was sold and the mortage was held by S. Louisa Bowe, living at Hinesberg, Chittenden, Couty, Vermont and was satisfied in 1870. Can anyone help in discovering who Louisa was, her ancestoers, family, and what happened to her?
