Good evening all, My apologies to those receiving multiple copies of this message. I would like to connect with other researchers/descendants of this Barber line: JOHN BARBER (parentage uncertain) 1741-1806, m 1772 ELIZABETH CHENEY (b. Ashford CT) 1752-1827. Both buried St George, Chittenden, VT. Children all born Williston, Chittenden, VT between 1773-1796: Oliver, William, Sarah, Anna, John, Phillip, Charles, Elizabeth, Hannah and Joseph. WILLIAM BARBER (s/o John and Elizabeth) b. 1176 Williston, d 1816 Hinesburg, m HANNAH TERRILL/TURRELL b. New Milford, CT. Children all born Williston, Chittenden, VT between 1801-1814: Philander, Almon, Heman, Allen, Laura, Juliette, and William Perry. All of these children, except William Perry, settled in Chautauqua Co., NY and raised their families. Their mother, Hannah, m2 Orange Mott and also settled in Chautauqua Co. where she presumably died. WILLIAM PERRY BARBER (s/o William and Hannah) b. 1814 Williston, d. 1887 Warren Co., PA, m 1835 REBECCA ANN ADKINS 1812-1894. Both buried Warren Co., PA. Children all born in Warren Co. between 1840-1855: Mary Sophronia, Martha A., Augustine L., Heman, Katherine E., and William Worth. I would like to hear from anyone having knowledge of any part of this line. Thanks very much, Sally Shaner sshaner@alaweb.com
