Would like to exchange family information on: James BETTY born 1798, died 1855 in Williston, Chittenden County, VT. James BETTY married Cordelia Augusta WEBB in 1845, daughter of Thomas WEBB. Children of James and Cordelia Augusta WEBB BETTY were: Minnie A. BETTY born 1847 married Jacob DOTY, Lucinda BETTY born 1849, Horace A. BETTY born 1850 married Bettie Little DAVIS, and George J. BETTY born 1853 married Frances DOTY. James BETTY had a brother John BETTY who also lived in Chittenden County. It is believed their father was James BETTY Sr. Thomas WEBB was born abt 1794 in Connecticut and his death certificate states he was a "chair maker" and married a Charlotte (?). Thomas and Charlotte WEBB had the following known children: Cordelia Augusta WEBB born 1821, Hanna S. WEBB born 1824 married a BROWN, Simon WEBB born 1826 died 1873 in Meridian CA, Albert WEBB born 1838.
